Panama City, Panama Tour in Style
The Panama City, Panama Tour
The Panama City, Panama tour takes you on a journey of the old world and the new world in a state of collision. In recent years Panama City has become a cosmopolitan city built on the back of a colonial era Spanish town.
This day will take you all over Panama City, Panama in total comfort in our VIP Panama Tours Toyota Prado’s.
The Panama City, Panama tour gives you the opportunity to explore old town Casco Viejo also known as Casco Antiguo with its colonial Spanish architecture and fort.
Visit the Panama Presidential Palace.
When you visit the Presidential Palace of Panama you will be able to see Herons milling around the main entrance and fountain. These birds garner attention and always are up for a photo opportunity.
The Presidential Palace is located in Casco Viejo, the old Spanish quarter of Panama City, Panama.
While in Casco Viejo you will be able to visit the old Spanish fort, the metropolitan Cathedral, the Merced Church and visit the Plaza Herrera where you can enjoy a cup of expresso.
The Panama Canal Museum at Miraflores.
Visit the Panama Canal.
When people visit Panama the Panama Canal tends to be the top priority. We understand this, so VIP Panama Tours has set up our tour to allow you as much time as needed exploring the Panama Canal options.
First up is the Panama Canal Administration building. This imposing building sits on Ancon Hill overlooking the former offices of the US Army Corp of Engineers and other military offices.
We then take a short trip to the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal where the Panama Canal Museum and Miraflores Locks observation platform are located. Take a tour of the museum and learn about the history of the Panama Canal.
Watch a short movie, take pictures of the equipment used, learn about the fauna of Panama and of course learn how the Panama Canal operates. Once you are done with the Panama Canal museum head to the top floor and watch as giant vessels transit the Miraflores locks.
The Beautiful Amador Causeway
Visit the Amador Causeway, Panama.
It has been an information filled day. It is time to take in some beautiful vista’s and enjoy an amazing meal. Welcome to the Amador Causeway of Panama.
By now everyone must be starving. We have a few options of restaurants on the Amador Causeway. Our favorite is Buccanero’s located at the end of the Amador Causeway on Isla Flamenco. The service is superb and the food is a mix of surf and turf.
Once you are filled up, we have a special treat for you as we go to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. At STRI you have the opportunity to see Sloth, pet Sea Turtles and view other sea life.
Everyday in Panama around 6:30 pm the sun goes down. We do not want you to miss this photo opportunity on the Amador Causeway. You may even have the opportunity to take a selfie with a ship as it enters or exits the Panama Canal via the Pacific ocean.
